The description for this product is "Leave-in conditioner that helps safeguard hair from heat-induced damage and breakage". I'm excited to use this when I blow-dry, straighten, or curl my hair. I also love how big the sample is. It always impresses me when brands send out large samples, because I have plenty of time to try the product and see if I like it before deciding if I am going to buy it or not.

The description that came with this product says "Light-as-water anti aging liquid that promotes brighter, firmer skin and fades dark spots". I received a Paula's Choice product before, and I honestly wasn't really that impressed. I hope that this one changes my mind. I luckily don't have a ton of the issues that this product is made to treat, so I guess I'll use it more as a preventative measure.

This is definitely the item that I was most excited about. It is a full-sized sample that comes with nail polish and a little pot of velvety stuff to dip your nail into. I was hoping to get the velvet version or the glitter version, so I'm really happy that I got this product. I found the application process to be a bit tricky, because the powder kept clumping together and it was hard to get a smooth coat on. I almost wonder if sprinkling it on might end up with a better look at the end. I found it hard to get clean lines on the edges of my nails, and I need to clean it up big time now. Overall, I love the effect that this gave to my nails, and I'm hoping that it lasts for at least a few days!

I got three different creams this month. Each came in a little packet that reminded me of a ketchup packet from McDonalds. Not the best first impression. Two of the creams were the same, a "super fruits reparative cream", and the other was a "vitamin A & CoQ10 wrinkle smoothing night cream." We will see if these actually do anything for me, and if they actually make me want to switch from the moisturizer that I use now.

I was excited to get tea in one of my other Birchboxes, but that was because it was fun flavors. I personally hate English Breakfast Tea, so that one will probably go to Eric or to the trash can. I love mint tea, so that will definitely be used, and the Apricot Sunrise looks interesting, so I'll definitely try that. I personally don't think that tea (or any food besides chocolate) should replace a makeup/skincare item in Birchbox. I think that these are fun bonuses, but I know more people who don't like tea than people that do. Luckily, I'm a tea drinker, so I will at least give these a shot, but I wish that I could have gotten another skincare or makeup product instead.
